Calacatta Carrara marble
Ivory-white ground and wide grey-gold veins: Calacatta is the Apuan marble most requested by architects and interior designers worldwide.
Géologie et données techniques
Medium-fine grained marble from the Fantiscritti and Colonnata basins, with veins enriched in iron oxides that give the gold and taupe tones. Density 2,700 kg/m³, absorption about 0.15%.
Usages
Luxury kitchens and bathrooms, floors and walls of lobbies and boutiques, tables and fireplaces, bookmatched walls; large-format slabs.
Sélections et formats
Oro, Vagli, Borghini and Carrara varieties according to vein colour and ground; 2 and 3 cm slabs polished, honed or brushed.
Prix indicatif
Premium and excellence bands: 200-500 €/m² for commercial selections, 500-1,000 €/m² for Oro and Borghini, excl. VAT, ex works Carrara.
