Balegemse Steen is a Belgian limestone quarried in the historic deposits of Belgium. It presents a uniform beige and cream palette, with a subtle, fine grain that gives the surface a smooth, almost velvety appearance. The stone’s consistent texture and gentle veining make it ideal for both interior and exterior applications, such as wall cladding, flooring, and decorative panels. Recommended finishes include honed, polished, and brushed, depending on the desired aesthetic. Marmi di Carrara supplies Balegemse Steen in blocks and 2‑3 cm thick slabs, offering cut‑to‑size services and providing photographs of actual slabs before purchase to ensure confidence in the selection.
