Buxy Sauvage is a blue limestone from France, appreciated for its distinctive grey-blue tonality. The stone shows a fine, dense grain and a compact background in which soft blue and grey shades blend with subtle cloudy veining, giving interiors a sober yet characterful look. Suitable for flooring, wall cladding, bathrooms, staircases and worktops, this French limestone adapts well to both classic and contemporary projects. It accepts honed, polished, brushed and sandblasted finishes, each enhancing different facets of its colour. Marmi di Carrara supplies Buxy Sauvage as blocks, slabs in 2 and 3 cm thicknesses and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
