Highland Danby is a grey marble quarried in the United States, appreciated for its light grey background crossed by soft grey veining and warm gold accents. The pattern is typically flowing and understated, giving interiors a calm, luminous character that suits both classic and contemporary projects. This American marble is a popular choice for flooring, wall cladding, bathroom vanities, countertops, stairs and fireplace surrounds. It works well polished, for a refined reflective surface, or honed and brushed for a softer, more tactile finish. Marmi di Carrara supplies Highland Danby as blocks and slabs in 2 and 3 cm, plus cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs sent before purchase.
