Jura Marmor is a well-known limestone from Germany, long appreciated for its warm beige and cream tones and its calm, uniform character. The stone typically shows a fine to medium grain with delicate darker veining and small fossil traces that give surfaces a quiet, natural rhythm rather than strong movement. This makes Jura Marmor a versatile choice for flooring, wall cladding, staircases, bathrooms and ventilated facades, in both classic and contemporary projects. It works beautifully with honed, polished, brushed or sandblasted finishes. Marmi di Carrara supplies Jura Marmor as blocks, slabs in 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces, and sends photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
