Dark greyish fine‑to‑medium grained rock with a homogeneous appearance; a hornblende‑biotitic diorite displaying a granular hypidiomorphic texture and sericitic alteration of plagioclase together with chloritic alteration of biotite.
Preto Évora is a Granite quarried in Portugal, catalogued in the Marmi di Carrara atlas under the international reference ICPTGR00686. Its dominant tone is black, with fine to medium grain and a granular texture.
Like every granite, it is supplied as raw blocks, gangsaw slabs in 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces made in our Carrara plants.
