Dyneley Knowl is a grey natural stone from the United Kingdom, a material whose exact geological classification is not widely documented but which is appreciated for its sober, typically uniform grey appearance. Like many British stones, it lends itself to both traditional and contemporary settings: flooring, wall cladding, staircases, worktops and exterior paving, depending on the specific characteristics of each batch. Polished, honed, brushed or sandblasted finishes can enhance its grey tone and subtle grain, though the most suitable surface should be assessed on the actual material. Marmi di Carrara supplies Dyneley Knowl as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm thick and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs sent before purchase.
