Encarnadão is a distinctive limestone from Portugal, prized for its warm beige and cream tones with subtle rosy undertones. The stone features a fine, microcrystalline grain and a bioclastic texture, often displaying abundant fossil inclusions that add organic character to the surface. Its soft, earthy palette makes it ideal for interior flooring, wall cladding, and decorative accents in residential and commercial spaces. Suitable finishes include honed, polished, and brushed surfaces to highlight its natural texture. Marmi di Carrara supplies Encarnadão in blocks, standard 2 cm and 3 cm slabs, or cut-to-size pieces. We provide high-resolution photos of actual slabs to ensure you select the exact variation before purchase.
