Fior DI Rosa is an Italian limestone prized for its delicate rose-pink background and very fine, uniform grain, enlivened by occasional soft white veins. Quarried in Italy, this pink limestone brings a warm, romantic character to façades, flooring, cladding, bathroom surfaces and decorative elements, indoors and outdoors. Its compact, fine texture takes polishing, honing, brushing and sandblasting well, letting architects move between refined and rustic effects. Marmi di Carrara supplies Fior DI Rosa as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm thick and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs sent before purchase so buyers can approve the exact material.
