Gres Schisteux is a striking Belgian breccia renowned for its dynamic, multicoloured composition. Originating from quarries in Belgium, this natural stone features an aggregate of angular rock fragments cemented within a contrasting matrix, creating a bold and textured visual appearance. The palette typically blends earthy reds, greys, and blacks, offering a rugged yet sophisticated aesthetic ideal for contemporary and rustic design schemes. Gres Schisteux is versatile and suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including wall cladding, flooring, and feature accents. It pairs well with honed or brushed finishes that enhance its raw, geological character. Marmi di Carrara supplies this premium Belgian breccia as raw blocks, precision-cut slabs in 2 cm and 3 cm thicknesses, and custom cut-to-size pieces. We provide detailed photos of actual slabs before purchase to ensure exact colour and pattern matching for your project.
