Petrographic description
This marble exhibits a cataclastic texture with a grey-white base, accented by red, pink, and yellow veins and patches. It contains calcite crystal bands with grain sizes ranging from 0.9 to 1.9 mm.
Supren is a Marble quarried in Turkey, catalogued in the Marmi di Carrara atlas under the international reference ICTRMA00198. Its dominant tone is grey, with a banded / veined texture.
Like every marble, it is supplied as raw blocks, gangsaw slabs in 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces made in our Carrara plants. Recommended finishes: polished, honed, brushed, sandblasted, bush-hammered (exterior). Typical applications: interior floors and walls, bathrooms, vanity tops, stairs, fireplaces, furniture and sculpture.
