Crystal Green Marble is a Canadian marble prized for its vivid green background softened by subtle white carbonate patches and occasional white quartz speckles. The stone displays a uniform grain with soft veining that adds depth without overwhelming the dominant colour. Its elegant appearance makes it suitable for flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and decorative elements in both residential and commercial projects. Recommended finishes include honed for a matte look or polished for a high‑shine surface that highlights the green tones. Marmi di Carrara supplies Crystal Green Marble in 2–3 cm thick blocks and slabs, cut‑to‑size, with real‑slab photographs available before purchase.
Petrographic description
The stone consists of green carbonate minerals with interspersed white carbonate and contains 10–20 % white quartz.

Verde Malachite marble: the complete guide
Overview
Verde Malachite is a deep green stone with light veins reminiscent of the mineral it is named after. For Marmi di Carrara it comes from its own quarry and is chosen for projects that want character.
History and origin
Commercially classified as a marble, Verde Malachite comes from a quarry owned by Marmi di Carrara: this lets us follow extraction, select the blocks and guarantee continuity of supply for large projects. The name recalls malachite, the banded green mineral used since antiquity for jewellery and decoration, because of the similar colour effect.
Appearance
A deep green background, from forest green to dark emerald, crossed by lighter veins and shades that create a dynamic pattern. Polished, the colour becomes deep and brilliant; honed, it takes on a velvety tone. Every slab has its own pattern, ideal for book-matched compositions.
Uses
Perfect for feature walls, dramatic bathrooms, table tops, fireplaces, furniture tops and washbasins, inlays and marquetry. In kitchens it works well on islands and breakfast bars, with a protective treatment. It pairs with large neutral surfaces: a single wall or top in Verde Malachite is enough to define a room.
Care and maintenance
Clean with neutral detergents and a soft cloth; avoid acids, descalers and aggressive products that can dull the polish. Apply a stain-proof sealer after installation and renew it periodically. On polished surfaces use coasters and blot liquids immediately.
