Groznjan is an organogenic limestone quarried in Croatia, also traded under the name Corneria. Its background is white with warm brownish tones, and the massive texture reveals shells of microfossils and clearly visible stratification, giving the stone a soft, natural character. Thanks to its uniform appearance and pleasant colouring, Groznjan limestone is well suited to facades, wall and floor cladding, steps, window sills and interior design elements. It can be supplied polished, honed, brushed or sandblasted, depending on the desired effect. Marmi di Carrara offers Groznjan blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm thick and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
