Aigen is a grey granite quarried in Austria, a country known for its robust and durable natural stones. Its colour is a balanced, medium grey with a fine to medium grain, often showing subtle variations and occasional darker mineral flecks that add depth without being overpowering. This makes Aigen an excellent choice for both interior and exterior applications, including kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, wall cladding, and stair treads. The stone takes a variety of finishes well, from polished to honed, and even flamed or brushed for outdoor use. Marmi di Carrara supplies Aigen granite in blocks, slabs of 2 or 3 cm thickness, and cut-to-size pieces, always providing photos of the actual slabs before purchase to ensure you select exactly the material you need.
