Branco DE Candoso is a light grey granite quarried in Portugal, appreciated for its uniform appearance and timeless character. Medium- to coarse-grained, this two-mica granite shows a granular texture with a subtle porphyroidal tendency, giving the surface a lively yet balanced speckled pattern in soft grey and silvery tones. Its soundness and consistent colour make Branco DE Candoso granite suitable for flooring, wall cladding, kitchen worktops, stairs and exterior applications. It responds well to polished, honed, flamed and bush-hammered finishes, depending on the desired effect. Marmi di Carrara supplies Branco DE Candoso as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm thick and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
