Dorres is a French grey granite prized for its uniform colour and fine to medium grain. Extracted from quarries in France, the stone displays a subtle speckled pattern of light and dark minerals, giving it a sophisticated, understated appearance. Its durability and low porosity make Dorres suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and outdoor paving. The stone performs well in polished, honed or brushed finishes, depending on the design intent. Marmi di Carrara supplies Dorres in 2‑3 cm thick blocks and slabs, offering cut‑to‑size options and providing photographs of actual slabs before purchase to ensure confidence in the selection.
