Itaverde is a grey granite quarried in Brazil, also traded as Ita Green, Ita Verde or Itagreen. The stone shows a greenish-grey background with a fairly uniform, medium-grained crystalline texture and soft darker speckling rather than pronounced veining, giving surfaces a calm, natural character. Its technical behaviour as a granite makes Itaverde suitable for kitchen countertops, flooring, wall cladding, stairs, façades and outdoor paving. Polished, honed, flamed or brushed finishes all enhance its granular pattern, depending on the intended use. Marmi di Carrara supplies Itaverde granite as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces, and sends photos of the actual slabs before purchase so buyers can approve the material.
